The first India Leadership Conclave was held on 26 September 2009 at The Taj Palace, New Delhi. Conceptualised and founded by Dr. Satya Brahma, the inaugural conclave brought together prominent voices from business, government, media and public affairs to debate the future of the Indian economy. Its theme was “Will Indian Economy Bounce Back by 2010?” Since then, ILC has evolved into an annual leadership platform featuring business leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, academics, social innovators and influential voices from across sectors.
